Really Here - Jan 2005

We really are settling in here! I picked up my journal to write in it, and realized it had been almost a month since the previous entry. I guess that means Ghana is becoming home to us. We are both becoming quite busy. I have more duties every day as the registrar, and we are both teaching classes. I am really enjoying my classes...the students get involved in discussion as we learn about the Holy Spirit and Faith Foundations. I also enjoy making my classes practical and relative--today during our discussion on the fruit of the Spirit, we learned how to use the Strong's Concordance for a word search! We are learning to speak Twi! We have many teachers, and the people here love it when we say simple things, such as, "How are you" in Twi. We are both working hard to learn as much as we can about the culture and the language, though the pronounciation is difficult at times! God has really blessed us! Our health is good and we are safe and happy.
